Don’t cast your pearl to swines

Mensa Otabil the author of Buy the Future states, “ I have seen nations sell off their rain forest as timber for a pittance just to survive their present economic hardships.

As an African one of the sorest and most emotive events of my history has to do with the transatlantic slave trade, the soreness of my grief is centered around the question of how Africans could sell their people for processed commodities from Europe”.

🎈The above quote by Mensa is not totally a displacement of the history of the African people. This is because we can still learn one or two things from the degradation the African nation was faced with during that period.

🎈What are you presently selling away for little shekels because of immediate gratification?

🎈Are you setting up yourself by stealing from your future?

🎈To sell away the future because of your inability to see beyond the present is poverty.

🎈Poverty does not only mean absence of material goods, it also means lack of sight; the inability to see beyond where you are.

🎈Remember this, the totality of our lives experiences is in our minds: our interpretation of the past, our evaluation of the present  and our imagination of the future.

🎈Let go of whatever you are selling today because of your lack of sight.

🎈Let go that abuse relationship.

🎈Let go of that crime business.

I dare you to dare your tomorrow.
