As the man stepped out from the court room, he bided his wife goodbye with a smirk. 

She on her own stared at him with the dark feeling of loss and uncertainty.

Erik and Joyce had spent over a decade of their lives together and now it was a  light sentence of goodbyes and a cold unhappy past. 

Why couldn’t they stay together?? 

I’m not certain we can agreeably reach a conclusion on the reasons why people can’t live or be together any more. Being that so many reasons could be factors to the continuous depletion of marriages. Nevertheless, I’ll try and tell you something. Please do not forget this, hold on to it closely.

👉 Never get married hoping you would get a divorce. Go into it with a give it your best shot mindset. I’ve heard so many people saying “I will leave if it fails”. Don’t! Go in giving it your very best. 

👉 In choosing your life partner, don’t make the choice like you are purchasing a clothe or a dress. When making life long decisions, you’ve got to give it the thought and preparedness it deserves. 

👉 When you are getting married, make sure you’ve spoken to God about it and the people who love you. Don’t be hasty, take sometime out and pray. 

👉 Remember that you can only see as far as you want to. Do not make life long decisions with present realities in mind. Seek the help of God.
