Day 13th
Have faith
But who can teach a lesson to God, since he judges even the most powerful? One person dies in prosperity, completely comfortable and secure, the picture of good health vigorous and fit. Another person dies in bitter poverty, never having tasted the good life. But both are buried in the same dust, both eaten by the same maggots.
Job 21: 22-26
There are somethings we would never be able to understand in life, yet we must trust the Lord. Why do good people die? Why is there so much war? When is the world going to end?. The questions above may be reasonable but there are somethings that should be left alone.
Life would present some very hard equations sometimes but nevertheless our eyes must be fixed on the one who loves us. Trusting God doesn’t mean your questions would fade away, it just means you may not understand all the things all the times. Our Bible study character “Job” understood that some things in our lives may not be answered but regardless he kept his eyes fixed on him.
Don’t forget that trusting God is a decision and not a feeling. Trusting God is a deliberate act. So put yourself together and keep moving forward even with unanswered questions.
Prayers
Lord I trust you and I will follow you all the days of my life. Teach me to trust you. Hold my hands in faith
