Day three 

Pressure 

At last Job spoke and he cursed the day of his birth, he said: “let the day of my birth be erased, and the night I was conceived.

Job 3:3 

The words we speak are spirit and life. One very effective way to get higher in life is through the words we speak. Remember that the Lord created the world through the words he spoke. “He spoke to the light and there was light”.

Job started off with praises but he ended up asking the wrong questions and hence, he started moving in the wrong direction. Every word we speak would definitely come to pass; it doesn’t matter if the words are good or bad. 

  No matter how terrible the situations in your life may be, refuse to speak the wrong words. Speak life, peace and truth. You don’t have to whine under pressure, instead give the Lord praise and rejoice in the reality of what he’s done in times past. 

Remember that through your words, you would be justified or condemned. Speak life that you may live. Job forgot that the words a man speaks elongates or shortens moments of calamities.
